Tracking the train

The city is full of underground and overground trains (U and S bahns) that connect Mitte and it's connecting suburbs. The system is fantastically quick and very regular meaning you can get places with no delay all day. In 1990 U2 came to Berlin to record Achtung Baby after the wall came down. One of their tracks is called Zoo Station named after the stop on the 'U2' line.. mmm interesting huh?

Anyway - the whole underground seems to be themed with colour and design for every stop.. I have taken a few pics - but will be documenting more as time flies.
